Edina's neighborhoods

Edina is a city of distinct neighborhoods, and they differ a great deal in age, style, and lot size. A few examples:

The Country Club District, an early twentieth-century planned neighborhood.
Morningside, one of the earliest suburban neighborhoods in the area, dating to the early 1900s.
Indian Hills, Parkwood Knolls, Rolling Green, and Interlachen, on the west side of the city.

Commute and schools

The commute. Highway 62 runs east and west across the middle of Edina, Highway 100 runs north and south, and Highway 169 and Interstate 494 border the west and south sides. Downtown Minneapolis is a short drive, which is one of the main reasons buyers look here.

Schools. Edina Public Schools serves most of the city, with Edina High School and two middle schools, South View and Valley View. Confirm the schools for any specific address with the district.
